STUDIO CITY - A murder suspect was in custody in Studio City, according to media reports.

About 11 a.m., LAPD North Hollywood Station officers spotted the man, wanted in connection with a murder that occurred about a year ago, No said. The search began shortly after the sighting.
According to KCAL9, an FBI task force was requested to respond to the area along with LAPD officers.
Carpenter Avenue Elementary School, a charter school, was locked down, and two other campuses were reportedly taking similar precautions.
