Kim Kardashian made a pit stop at an LA gas station yesterday to refuel her white Bentley. She accessorized with a springy green purse and costume jewelry but was missing a 20-carat diamond engagement ring on her left hand. Kim Kardashian and her fianc�, Kris Humphries, announced their engagement early this morning and posed together for this week's cover of People magazine. The couple, who took their engagement photo on Friday, were also noticeably beaming late last week following a dinner date at BOA. For his part Kris has been logging time on the West Coast getting to know Kim's family and her best friend Jonathan Cheban, who confessed he almost "exploded" trying to keep the engagement news a secret. For now, Kim and Kris are heading back to the East Coast, where he's resuming his intense basketball conditioning while she'll have her hands full with wedding planning. No doubt she'll enlist the help of her sisters and her mom, Kris, who's hoping to have more than the nine days' notice that Khloe gave her when she announced the news to wed LA Laker Lamar Odom. Kim's probably already thinking about her wedding dress and getting into tip-top shape for the big day, though Kim's already looking beach body ready in her tiny bikinis.
