Mariah Carey is now a proud mum
Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon's twins arrived yesterday.
The couple's daughter was born first, weighing 5lb 3oz, swiftly followed by her son at 5lb 6oz.
Mariah gave birth at 12.07pm in Los Angeles.
'My wife just gave me the most incredible anniversary gift ever in life!' Nick Tweeted. 'I won't ever be able to top this!'
The couple, who tied on the knot on 30 April 2008, renew their vows annually.
During her pregnancy, Mariah stripped off for a new nude photo shoot with husband.�
In one image, Nick, 30, gently kissed Mariah's tummy and, in another picture, he wrapped his arms protectively around her breasts.
The snaps were taken by photographer Kristofer Buckle to celebrate the pregnancy.�
'I'm so excited to meet our babies and I'm looking forward to being a mother,' said Mariah, 41.
'Nick will be a hands-on dad. He already reads stories to my tummy.'�
