LOS ANGELES - L.A. city firefighters had to rescue two people from a black Porsche that struck a light pole, then the center divider on the westbound Marina (90) Freeway Sunday night leaving the passenger with critical injuries and the driver with minor injuries, a witness at the scene reported.
The crash took place at 11:18 p.m. on the westbound Marina Freeway at the southbound San Diego (405) Freeway, said California Highway Patrol Officer Anthony Martin.
The wreckage blocked the number two lane of the Marina Freeway and it was closed about 20 minutes while the area was cleared.
