Kate Hudson is also engaged to Muse front man Matt Bellamy.There's nothing like a celeb-filled event to celebrate the upcoming arrival of a new baby.
Kate Hudson was thrown a baby shower on Sunday, hosted by close pals Jennifer Meyer Maguire and "90210" actress Sara Foster, according to Us Magazine.
The affair, which took place at a private home, had stylist Rachel Zoe, Courteney Cox and Nicole Richie as some of the reported 80 guests in attendance.
Hudson, 32, is due to give birth in July to her first child with her fiance, Muse front man Matt Bellamy. She is already mom to son Ryder, 7, with ex-husband Chris Robinson.
She has been adamant from the beginning of her pregnancy to keep the gender of the baby under wraps, so she "was gifted with gender neutral baby items," a guest told People.
"She looked amazing and kept giggling while mingling with friends, nibbling on food and playing games. She seemed to have the best time," the source added.
But, Hudson proved to be not too famous for the traditional baby shower games.
"The best one was where people tried to guess what Kate and Matthew should name the baby," a source told Us. "It was hilarious and got a lot of laughs out of everyone! It was such a fun party -- and people stayed for hours."
