Peter Andre and Elen Rivas have been dating for five months, so you'd think the pair would be basking in the honeymoon period of their romance.
And they probably would be if it wasn't for the constant presence of Pete's ex.
Now can reveal that Katie Price's very public romance with toyboy Leandro Penna has piled extra strain on to Pete and Elen's already fragile relationship.
In fact, Peter, 37, has become so obsessed with the revelation that Leandro's been living with his children Junior, five, and Princess, three, at Jordan's Surrey mansion while he's been in the UK that he's struggling to find time for Elen.
'Things have got so bad that a gutted Elen, 36, told a close pal last week: 'Katie's ruining everything.'
Elen decided it was time for her and Peter to have ?the chat' to find out if they were heading for Splitsville.
Frustratingly, Peter couldn't find the time to meet up, so they had to have the conversation over the phone.
Our source says: 'Pete seemed distant, so Elen felt she had to have it out with him.
'He tried to reassure her by saying he's still very much interested but that's not enough for Elen.
'She wants someone who can give her the support and attention she needs.
'Elen knows Jordan's doing her best to make things difficult for him but she's warned Pete if he can't move on and forget his ex, he'll lose her.'
